Additional Information
  • Configuring the location for where Media Center Master will move downloads, meta-data, and image files to.
  • This is, also, the location Media Center Master uses to scan an existing media collection.

If configuring a set-up for personal preferences using different folder structures, and/or naming conventions not listed in these guides:

  • Do not use the root of a hard drive, partitions, or mapped drives as a scan folder. You will receive an error, "This path is marked as "hidden" and "system" and may cause issues." There are hidden/system files and folders in the root of ALL windows drives, namely the Recycle bin.
  • Do not use the "Completed Downloads" folder used in uTorrent, also known as the "Watch" or "Parsing" folder in Media Center Master, as a scan folder. This can create a hugh mess of a collection.

Step 1 - Open the "Set scan folders..." window through the "Application" menu.

Step 2 - Tick the "Add new..." button to open the "Browse For Folder" window,

  • Navigate to the Folder Structure created in the "How to set up a Folder Structure for Media Center Master" guide,
  • Select the "TV Shows Archive" folder, then click the "OK" button,
  • Close the "Scan Folder List" window by clicking on "Done," top left.
