To Do List

  1. ????remove links in side bar to collapes the toc down to wanted path with direct links to the page.
  2. create new pages with links in corresponding side bars for wanted (new) pages, start the basic's section..


  1. figure out how the delete template works with categories.
  2. go through all pages and templates, insert the following link:
    {{delete | reason= ~~~~ page was not used, or renamed/moved, and is no longer needed in the wiki}}
  1. redo all info boxes: change wiki markup from block quote to a table markup.
  2. fix info boxes on left side of side bar to center between left side of page and side bar on each page.
  3. work on wiki editing navigation box, image links and info boxes pages, redo examples to tables with pre and don't use nowiki.
  4. work on real life configuration examples.
  5. make a how to: create new page and where links to new page is needed for this wiki.

INSERT TEMPLATES USED FOR SIDE BAR TEMPLATES

This template is not in use, removed and inserted contents directly into each template.
Doing this provides for a navigation system with disabled links [blacked out (orange), not blue] for the current page view.
It gives a viewer an illusion of knowing where he/she is when looking at the navigation area.

template:Side Bar Navigation
This is the "Side Bar Navigation" template. It should be called in the following format:

This template is not in use, possible future addition.

The User Interface

The Media Center Master User Interface consist of six areas. These six areas are:

The Program Menu Bar
Access to the various user settings are obtained through four (4) pop-up menus.
The Media Collection Viewing Pane
Provides the user with a list of all media in the collection, user preference indicator icons, and colored highlights for listings missing meta-data.
The Graphical User Interface Viewing Options
Options to change views.
The Log Viewing Pane
Provides a view of the processing being done in real time.
The Meta-Data Viewing Area
Graphical representation of Meta-Data for a selected listing.
The Program Status Area
Identifies what process is ongoing.

Provides pop-up window with 14 tabs for the user to customize Media Center Master to user preferences. Click on page link in side bar for additional information for each tab and it's options.

Use auto-scan
When enabled Media Center Master will scan and update media folders with new and/or missing meta-data.
