The current version of Media Center Master is 2.14. Version 1.32 has been used for many the examples in the wiki, so beware that some of the options may be expanded or look different than various screen shots.

Official/Unofficial Wiki Pages Most of the content on the wiki was written by fans and users like yourself. If a page is marked as Official, then the content was written with official information (usually by the software author).

As for integrating Media Center Master and XBMC, there is no additional software, add-ons, or plugins to use. The only thing to keep in mind is the XBMC settings tab in Media Center Master, and this depends on what skin you decide to use and how you set that skin up for visualization.

XBMC is much like Media Center Master in the configuration/set-up area. Both have a multitude of ways to be customized by the user once it is installed.

There are two (2) issues that will come up during a new set-up of XBMC.

The first issue will come about after setting scan folders for your collection. Here it is required to select a fetcher for the folders. In that Media Center Master has done this already, simply disconnect the internet from your computer during the initial set-up. This will force XBMC to use your stored meta-data and image contents you acquired with Media Center Master. After the collection is scanned into XBMC reconnect the internet connection for Add-on/script, weather data,... updates. To add new downloads/refresh your collection: highlight the scan folder/s found through the videos tab/button on XBMC's Home Page, use the context menu (right click on folder, or hit "c" on keyboard while a folder is highlighted) then select "Scan for Contents". Do not use "Update Library," this will use the fetcher and download from the internet.

The second issue is using the actors/crew member images collected with Media Center Master. XBMC wants them in the individual movie/tv show folder. Media Center Master has no way of dealing with this at the time of this writing. It has been addressed and is listed in the Issue Tracker, Issue 780: Ability to use existing Actor images from MCM/MB with XBMC. Should you, also, wish to use a feature like this please visit the link and star it for priority (click on: Vote for this issue and get email change notifications, listed at the bottom of the issue, under add a comment).
